It Started on a Saturday Morning
Kids were already up, already loud, already asking where we were going. So we went. Donuts before 8am. No plan, just a let's go. Those mornings kept happening. Piling into the car, coffee in hand, kids bouncing in the backseat ready for whatever came next.
Somewhere in there we realized, these are the best mornings of our week. Not because of anything big. Just the opposite. No schedule. No rush. Just showing up for our kids and saying yes to the adventure. We called it "being a Saturdad" and we built this for every dad who knows the feeling.
Who We Are
We've been best friends for over a decade. College tennis teammates who never drifted apart. We got married, had kids, and are raising them together in sunny Southern California. Beach days, birthday parties, Saturday morning chaos, the whole thing.
Saturdad came from those mornings. Same crew, same feeling, year after year. We figured if it meant this much to us, it probably means something to other dads too.
Why Saturdad?
Saturday is when dads come alive. No emails. No meetings. Just pure family time with kids, doing the things that actually matter.
We wanted to capture that energy, not just for the weekend, but for any moment you're fully there. A Tuesday park trip. A Thursday ice cream run. A random afternoon that somehow becomes their favorite memory.
Saturdad is a reminder: you can make any day feel like Saturday. All it takes is showing up.
